Seven Update respects our user’s privacy and therefore we do not collect personal information. When using Seven Update or it’s SDK, no information about you or your computer is sent to us, except basic computer information when checking or downloading some updates that are hosted by us. Any information collected on our website is not sold or given out to anyone.
However most application updates are provided by the software vendors, in which your computer may access their server to download updates. Please review the appropriate software privacy policy, as it may differ than ours.

If you use Seven Update, in order for it to properly function some software components on your system that make up or are directly related to the Seven Update will need to be updated from time to time. These updates must be performed before the service can check for, download, or install other updates. These required updates fix errors, provide ongoing improvements, and maintain compatibility. If automatic updates are turned on, you will receive these updates automatically based on the setting you chosen.
Automatic updates are “turned on” if you choose one of the following settings: (i) install updates automatically, (ii) download updates automatically and choose whether to install them, or (iii) receive notifications about updates and choose whether to download and install them.
Cookies
A cookie is stored when accessing the web site, it is only used to personalize your experience, such as pages you visited and your site login information. The Seven Update program does not use cookies.
